Our craftsmen’s biggest challenge is pushing the limits of weaving the soul, What we perceive and feel in the unseen. We weave to move peoples souls within this remaining time of our lives. We value and highly respect each master craftsmen.

精神を込めて一本一本の帯を作り続け、目に見えない気配を織り込む。魂を織ることへの限界に挑む職人衆。それぞれが誉田屋の主役。
Highest skill
Our traditional weaving skills and techniques are highly valued internationally. Although due to industrialization and modernization, they are soon to be gone within these decades. We are challenging to weave our last spirit with our highest skill and sense.
世界一の技術
世界に誇れる高い技術を持った伝統の織りと染めの職人衆。しかし後継者不足により刻一刻と消滅していっている。この限られた時間で最高級の帯を作り上げ、次世代に残す。
We are highly aware of our perishing tradition.
The biggest challenge is what we leave behind after our Obi/Textile techniques all perish. That is the reason we weave the spirit into our work.
残される織りの精神
帯が滅びても残るものとは。いま、私たちの残せるものとは、形が変わったとしても日本や世界に生き続けるもの。目には見えず、ただならぬ気配を感じるもの。それは織りに宿る精神である。
